The fabulously eclectic and original soundtrack of the film was composed by the French musician, Mathias Duplessy. Apart from studying classical guitar from the age of six and composition and orchestration by the time he turned sixteen, Mathias is heavily influenced by music from around the globe. The soundtrack reflects his varied tastes and ranges from new interpretations of traditional Indian music to American influenced acoustic guitar compositions.

Working in close collaboration with Mathias was the Rajasthani virtuoso, Mir Mukhtiyar Ali. Hailing from a long line of traditional folk musicians, Mir Mukhthiyar is a highly accomplished vocalist in sufi music.

Also accompanying Mathias was Sabir Khan, the talented young sarangi player. Sabir is the son of the greatest exponent of the sarangi, Ustad Sultan Khan.
